Testnet farming is the only corner of airdrop hunting where the capital requirement is genuinely zero: no bridge risk, no locked deposits, no liquidation, just time, a wallet and consistency. November 2026 is an unusually strong month for it, with a confirmed allocation, an exchange-backed L2, and a Circle-built L1 all running at once. The trick is knowing which testnets actually promise anything, because most testnet tokens are worthless and many so-called airdrop promises come from third parties, not the team.
Canopy is the anchor of the list because it is the only confirmed drop here. It is an appchain framework that lets developers deploy sovereign Layer 1 blockchains without bridges, raised 8.5 million dollars from backers including Arrington Capital and Fenbushi, and has run its public testnet since February 2026. Half of the token supply is allocated to community and product users, one of the largest community allocations of any live campaign. Deploying your own testnet appchain earns the highest points multiplier, and it costs nothing. Daily check-ins, quests, referrals and social tasks all count toward the allocation, with the final snapshot landing roughly two weeks before the token launch.
GIWA is the Ethereum L2 built by Upbit, South Korea's largest exchange, on the OP Stack with one-second block times. No token has been announced, but the country's dominant exchange, with roughly 73% of the domestic market, does not build a chain for fun. The testnet has processed around 100 million transactions since launching in September 2025, and the farming loop is simple: claim Sepolia ETH from the faucet, bridge to GIWA Sepolia, deploy a contract and mint an NFT.
Arc is Circle's institutional L1, where USDC is the gas token. The token is unconfirmed as an airdrop, but the whitepaper already lays out tokenomics with 60% of supply going to ecosystem development, and Circle completed a 222 million dollar presale at a 3 billion dollar valuation. The farming loop is to claim USDC and EURC from the Circle faucet, bridge, swap, provide liquidity and deploy. The honest caveat is that Circle is a NYSE-listed company, so if a token ever ships to testnet users, expect identity checks or geographic restrictions to come with it.
Vearl is the most concrete of the newer names. Its public GPU-mining testnet opened on 23 October 2026, and its participation page sets aside 0.7% of maximum mainnet supply for this testnet's eligible miners. Miners earn one point per block and 1.5 points for paid work, and qualifying needs at least three active days and a minimum share of total points. Price your electricity first, download only from the official site, and mine on a machine that holds no wallets.
Asentum's incentivised testnet has been live since 17 September 2026, and its documentation states plainly that XP is the airdrop. XP comes from validating, signing blocks, swaps and liquidity, each with a daily cap. Staking real tokens multiplies XP but adds price risk, so it is optional. FLOP is the other name to watch: its testnet is the only route to a draft genesis airdrop, with miners, validators and agents all earning from verified compute, but no FLOP token exists yet, so anything claiming FLOP today is fake. Take links only from official sources.
The common thread across all six is that the reward is defined in the project's own documentation, not in a random social media post. Before farming any testnet, check the official docs for a published scoring system, a stated allocation, and a snapshot plan. A public testnet with no published rewards programme is just a testnet, and farming it is speculation, not strategy.
